Greetings from beautiful Kiama Alpine Club and Thredbo.

I’m new to the onsite management of Kiama Alpine Club this year, but not new to Thredbo, arriving for my first winter season in 1990 to work up at Eagles Nest.

Since then, I have enjoyed many years on the mountain as a ski instructor and more recently a volunteer ski patrolling. Whilst raising my two gorgeous ski enthusiasts, they are now young adults, I managed club and commercial ski lodges here and in Victoria. I must say, I so love the culture of a club lodge as its unique, welcoming, relaxing, truly a home away from home for guests to make happy memories and keep coming back to make more!

Kiama Alpine Club facilities and views are absolutely amazing, one of the best in Thredbo. There are so many activities to choose from, summer and winter. There is not one activity that I would say no to. I love skiing off course, mountain biking and ebiking too, love kayaking and SUPing down on Lake Jindabyne, hiking up high and around the village, golf but better at Frisbee golf and recently I got back on a horse at Thredbo Valley Horse Riding on the Alpine Way.

We have so many activity options here, local and in the front yard at Kiama Alpine Club, that I encourage all to fill out our online booking form now to book your next holiday here at the lodge.

During my first year as manager I’m excited to be working alongside the Kiama team to provide the best holiday experience for all members and guests, and I look forward to meet as many of the Kiama family members and guests real soon.

I’m so lucky to be a part of this new big family.

See you soon
Cheers
Kris Hardman
